Taralga Wind Farm Installation Safety Management Plan
Safety Assurance
Project Description
Taralga Wind Farm is a 51-turbine wind farm situated east of the Taralga township in the Southern Tablelands of NSW and is owned and operated by Pacific Hydro. As a High Voltage Customer (HVC), defined in the NSW Service and Installation Rules, Pacific Hydro was required to develop and maintain an Installation Safety Management Plan (ISMP) that defines safety management associated with the operation of a high voltage network. The ISMP forms part of an audit by the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART).
Scope of Engagement
Axess developed a site specific ISMP to assist Pacific Hydro in the operation and maintenance of existing, modified and new electrical assets on the premises of Taralga Wind Farm in compliance with the relevant standards, codes and regulations, including the Electrical Supply (Safety and Network Management) Regulation 2014 (NSW).
Axess developed an ISMP defining processes to ensure the safe operation and maintenance of the high voltage installations at Taralga Wind Farm and its connection to Essential Energy’s transmission system.
